Our English summer school provides students with an exciting opportunity to travel to London, England, a historic and beautiful city. It’s not just about the travelling experience but also an opportunity to improve one’s English proficiency and learn new skills that lasts a lifetime.

Join our two-week program filled with vibrant activities, captivating tours, and interactive lessons led by experienced instructors. Travel Information

Our college is  in Woolwich, London near the famous River Thames . A place of historical importance as the home of the Royal Arsenal and its contribution to British military and industrial development. It is part of Greenwich borough, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its landmarks including the Greenwich Meridian, Royal Observatory, and maritime history.

Woolwich boasts excellent connectivity through a range of transportation options. South-eastern trains and Thames Clippers riverboat services offer efficient travel to central London, while the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) provides convenient links to destinations like London City Airport. Moreover, Woolwich will benefit from the direct connection provided by the Crossrail, Elizabeth Line to Heathrow Airport, which ranks among the busiest airports globally.

About The Programme

Students will be packed with activities and places to travel to including:

British history and culture – Tours to National Maritime Museum, Queen’s House, British Museum and the Natural History Museum.

University visit – You will have opportunity to visit our partner universities; Leeds Beckett University and University of the West of England.

Exploring London – Westminster, City of London, West End, etc. Bring your camera along to take pictures of Big Ben, London Eye, Shard, Tower Bridge, etc.

Music – Visit to Camden, the British home of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Regents Park and Little Venice.

Art & Food – Visit one of the top galleries in the world for art and also  try some of the best British delicacies at Shoreditch.

Science Museums – Interactive experience where you can also perform experiments.

Sports – Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tour

Visits to Hyde Park, Brighton beach, the O2, etc.

Accommodation in Partnership with Hosts International

‘’Hosts International meets the standards for registration with the British Council as a provider of homestay, private home and independent self-catering accommodation for adults and under-18s for accredited providers in the UK”.

Homestay

Living with a homestay is an unforgettable experience that helps students avoid cultural shock and slowly integrates and teaches them about the British culture. It has been proven that students’ welfare greatly affects their grades and ability to focus.  Our homestays are not only there to cook and provide a roof above students heads but also to interact with them, help improve their English skills and, most importantly, make them feel at home.

House Share

If students wish to have a slightly more independent lifestyle and cater for themselves, we are happy to accommodate them in outstanding house shares that are located in central London where students would be sharing their experience with other international students.

Visa Information

If you are travelling to the UK from outside the ‘EU’ (European Union) to study as a student, you will need a visa. The Woolwich College ‘TWC’ is accredited by the UKVI- recognised Accreditation Service for International Colleges (ASIC).

Standard Visitor Visa for up to 6 months: Any visitor coming to the UK can study English for up to 6 months without any visa supporting documentation. If you wish ‘TWC’ to provide supporting visa documentation for study, please contact us.

Short Term Study Visa for up to 11 months:
‘TWC’ will prepare the letter for your UKVI visa application. On receipt of fees for the study period, we shall provide the signed and stamped ‘letter of confirmation’ of studies in support of your visa.
