Accommodation

‘’Hosts International meets the standards for registration with the British Council as a provider of homestay, private home and independent self-catering accommodation for adults and under-18s for accredited providers in the UK”.

There are two types of accommodations:

  1. Homestay – Living with a homestay is an unforgettable experience that helps students avoid cultural shock and slowly integrates and teaches them about the British culture. It has been proven that students’ welfare greatly affects their grades and ability to focus.  Our homestays are not only there to cook and provide a roof above students heads but also to interact with them, help improve their English skills and, most importantly, make them feel at home.
  2. House Share – If students wish to have a slightly more independent lifestyle and cater for themselves, we are happy to accommodate them in outstanding house shares that are located in central London where students would be sharing their experience with other international students.

Prices for homestay range from £170.00 – £230.00 per week

Airport transfers: If it is your first the in the UK, Hosts International is able to provide airport to accommodation transfer services.

Travel insurance: To ensure a stress-free and enjoyable experience during your course, we highly recommend that you obtain adequate travel insurance prior to the commencement of your studies. Having suitable travel insurance in place is essential, as it safeguards your financial investment in the event of unforeseen circumstances. Instances such as illness or a serious accident that prevents you from traveling are considered insured reasons, and with appropriate travel insurance, you can recover the costs associated with course cancellation Securing a travel insurance at the time of booking is particularly advantageous because it provides coverage for pre-departure cancellation from the date of policy issuance. Your travel insurance could cover:

  1. Replacing a lost passport or visa
  2. Replacing luggage that is lost or stolen
  3. Course fees, if you need to cancel your course early due to illness or accident
  4. Medical bills in the UK if you are ill or have an accident

Immigration health surcharge applies for short-term English study visa and this fee will be a part of your online visa application. From this, you gain access to the comprehensive range of national health services available in the UK throughout your stay. This encompasses complimentary doctors’ appointments and hospital services.

It is reassuring to know that all students have access to emergency healthcare services at no charge while in the UK. In the event of an emergency requiring immediate medical attention, simply dial 999 to request an ambulance. There are no associated costs for contacting emergency services or receiving urgent care at public hospitals. However, please bear in mind that expenses may be incurred if you require an extended hospital stay or further treatment..
