About your Diploma
Dental Nurses involve a wide range of responsibilities, but primarily, they provide expert support to both Dentists and patients during clinical procedures. As a Dental Nurse, you will be expected to uphold high standards of practice and service, while applying professional skills and techniques.
Our online learning offers the NEBDN National Diploma in Dental Nursing, an accredited qualification by the National Examining Board for Dental Nurses, equivalent to a level 3 diploma.
In the first 3 to 4 months, you will focus on securing employment as a Trainee Dental Nurse. To support you in this process, we provide job placement support, including CV reviews, job search strategies, and interview preparation. During this initial period, you can progress through to some of units of the online course.
If employment is not secured within the 3 to 4 months period, you will remain in this stage until you are employed, at which point you can continue the course. Once employed, you will proceed with the rest of the online learning, leading up to the NEBDN written exam, held in April or November. Your tutor will confirm your exam dates.
Upon successful completion of the course and exams, you will be qualified as a Dental Nurse, enabling you to work in various settings such as hospitals, private practices, and community dental clinics.
